Hola! Last full day in Costa Rica and will be in San Jose today. Won't be able to do any tasting so wondering if anyone can share their favorite coffee we could pick up from the supermarket.
I saw someone recommended the brown bag Cafe Naranjo but could not find it in 5 supermarkets we looked at in Manuel Antonio / Quepos. So if anyone knows a specific store in San Jose for that one, would appreciate it, too!
Hey guys! For those of you that had a planned pregnancy after treatment, did you have any scans before TTC? Why or why not and what type (PET, CT, MRI) and did it include your pelvis? If you got a scan, were you told to wait to TTC or did you wait for personal reasons? Also any echo or bloodwork checks before hand?
I've discussed this with my onc. They are comfortable with me waiting 1 yr after treatment and one doc says to scan and the other says not necessary. Both say the radiation dose is so low that I shouldn't worry about my eggs being affected but I still can't shake the worry. I received mediastium and neck radiation so I think it would be important to view the pelvis to get a clear picture. Additionally, they found some scarring at the top of my lungs in January on CT so I would like another scan to see if it's stable since I'm still getting weird but small feelings in my chest.
I'm 34F, had Stage 2, non bulky CHL last year. 2 cycles ABVD + 20 Gy proton radiation.
