Stat Buyback by the pound
You get approached by what is basically a real life DM.
He offers you a permanent respec using D&D stats. Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma.
If you accept, all your stats instantly become 10 no matter what they were before.
For every NET 10 pounds you choose to instantly gain or lose, you get 1 stat point to place wherever you want.
So if you lose 50 pounds, you get 5 points.
If you gain 120 pounds, you get 12 points.
If you gain 70 pounds and then lose 30, you only get 4 points because it’s based on total net change.
The weight change happens instantly and your body fully adapts to it. No loose skin, no shock to your organs, etc. But your final body still has realistic consequences if you push it too far.
You can take some of the base 10 points from a stat and redistribute to another. You can’t lower a stat below 1 and you can't go above 20 in any stat.
A 10 is average human. Around 14 is exceptional. 18 is basically peak human. 20 starts getting into borderline superhuman territory.
Do you take the deal?
