I’m looking for an affordable tablet for a child aged 5–6, mainly for games, offline videos, eBooks and long trips.

I’ve been comparing Samsung tablets and Amazon kids tablets, but I’m not sure which is better. Are Amazon tablets good long-term, or is Samsung the better choice?

I’d also love recommendations for:

• Tablets for toddlers around age 2
• The best tablet for kids aged 5 or 6
• A good kids’ tablet for travel and car rides
• Strong parental controls and screen lock
