I’m 7wk+2 and have been looking into private NIPT screening options that are available from 10 weeks. I am keen to do this as soon as I am able following two early losses last year but I wondered if there is actually any difference in these blood tests compared to what the NHS (UK) combined testing offer at 12 weeks with scan? Is it just that you can find out sooner and choose more chromosome screening? I have also read on here that the more advanced screening isn’t all that good due to less data so more false positives may show?

Sorry I’m FTM and confused on the difference and I don’t want to spend money on the private NIPT if it’s the same as what is covered by NHS at 12wk!
