Portfolio Review | 10-Year Horizon | Aggressive Investor (Small Cap Heavy)
Hey everyone,
Looking for honest feedback on my mutual fund portfolio. Sharing exact details. I invest in large-cap stocks and ETFs through Zerodha, and I wanted to use mutual funds for small- and mid-cap exposure.

- Current Value: ₹3,86,688
- Total Returns: ₹23,983 (~6.61%)
- XIRR: ~10.49%
Allocation -
- Canara Robeco Small Cap Fund – ₹1,71,068
- Quant Small Cap Fund – ₹1,68,801

App used-Groww
Why these funds
Selected primarily based on past performance and returns.
Wanted higher growth, so leaned heavily towards small caps.
Key questions
- Is this too risky, even for an aggressive investor?
- Am I overexposed to small caps?
- Is there significant overlap between Quant & Canara Robeco small cap funds?
- Should I add a large cap / index fund for stability?
- Is this a portfolio or just a small cap bet? 😅
My concerns
Feels like I didn’t diversify…
Just doubled down on small caps instead.

If you were building a 10-year aggressive portfolio, how many funds would you keep and how would you allocate across Large/Mid/Small caps?
Thanks in advance 🙌
