Gave my first round interview on Tuesday. Still haven’t heard back (Intern 2027 position) btw.

Let me know, do they usually take this long?

I just gave my interview for AMDS team, i prepared a lot, with multiple interview questions under the impression that it would be behavioural, i spent hours preparing and trying perfect myself as im not that confident usually during interviews i felt great, i felt like i knew the team and what it does TO THE BRIM. Then the interview started, the interviewer had his camera off, asked me to introduce myself, asked about one of my projects and started typing java questions in the chat.

I had no clue that it would be a technical interview first round as the recruiter told me it’s a behavioural interview, i was asked no question about why KPMG, why AMDS or anything even close to that. After his 2/3 java questions which i answered to the best of my knowledge, he said that’s all he has for me. I ended of with great questions however i really do not know how to feel. I did not know the output to random java questions on the spot because i had completely prepared for WHY that role actually interests me. I’m fatigued, i graduate soon, this looked like my last opportunity to get my foot through the door, idek if i’ll get the second round interview even. I had no eye contact, he had no camera and it sounded like i am talking to myself
