Why does everything seem so much scarier the closer we get to completion/settle date
We are first time buyer, and have been clueless for the whole process with no one really to turn to so it’s been a steep learning curve.
We live in England and rent atm, and are buying a house in Scotland. Loving the Scottish process with the Home reports, solicitors etc, it has been great.
Put our offer in 4 weeks ago and will be completing/settling next week so it’s been a whirlwind.
Got the qualified acceptance through and they are literally deleting or downgrading the clauses our solicitors put in. And while I get it, none of it was alarming and seems like the standard give and take the wordings they keep using are stressing me out 🤪 irrational, probably, but we are so close now I just want the keys in my hand, not read more legal jargon
