Switched from an massive RGB thing to a super silent 23.6L boi
After 4 Years of using a fancy RGB PC, I thought I might want to grow up and build my next Dream PC that I can even carry around
Mobo with Black I/O Shield & Black GPU I/O Bracket
Specs:
Ryzen7 5700X - 160€ used
Deepcool Assasin IV - sniped for 55€ used
G.Skill 32GB 3600MHZ DDR4 - 100€ used in 2026
Gigabyte B550M GAMING X WIFI6 - 95€ new
Powercolor Hellhound RX 7800 XT - 390€ used but super silent
Corsair SF850L SFX-L PSU - 105€ used yes i know
Deepcool CH160 Plus - 60€ new on ebay
Crucial P3 Plus 2TB SSD - from my Old PC, 2y ago for 115€
Total: 965€ + old 115€ SSD
This thing is dead silent. Even under load it stays extremely silent:
CPU Max 75°C and maybe 79°C when GPU at 0% Fan Speed
CPU Cooler: Quiet Setting and 40% speed max
GPU on silent profile max 65°C to 85°C depending on the Game
GPU also pulls fresh air from the bottom for the CPU
No thermal-throttling yet, and yes no case fan cuz they're loud lol
Components were chosen to be as Black as possible. Even the GPU I/O bracket is black and the Sticker from the PSU has been removed to be more clean. What currently annoys me is the bright Power LED that the BIOS does not want to turn off, the shiny CMOS Batt but i might just slap a black sticker or vinyl on it and the goddamn Coil Whine from the GPU. It's the only thing you can hear under load but only when gaming not while stress testing it.
I was known for having a LAN-Party-PC, because my whole setup could fit in the old case, but now this is a new generation of a LAN-Party-PC
Fun fact: within my friend group it's the Smallest and Quietest, but also the best one in performance and performance/€ (some of them even payed way more than me). I finally reached the peak for myself and can happily say, that I got the best PC in my friend group after two of them dethroned me with new GPUs.
