HELP!!!!!
Edit: sorry one pic is of my transmission fluid.
Just bought this home. Actually not even yet. Closing Monday. Saturday is my walk thru. Taking the cover off for the first time. Agent at open house said pool wasn't open for 2 years. Owner at a meetup said it's been 4 years. Last nice google earth image is 6 years.
Haven't checked the pump or even power to the pump. I got pool math and the kit prematurely. I know I'll need pump. Found a Hayward 1.65 hp at the local store on sale $1200. I'll have to get a new filter cells. Already bought a skid of liquid chlorine from HD 10%. 21000 gallon. What are my steps.
Know the salt generator has issues with the board.
Also will need a new loop lock cover.
What's next?
- Make sure I have a working pump (old pref for the opening then switch out)
- Clean filters
- Check lining (holding water so fingers crossed at the top)
- Slam the pool and run that filter after removing all the big stuff
- Get a cheap vacuum / brush for the walls/ floor and scrub everyday
- .....
- Test strips and balancing a well kept pool
- .....
- Change the pavers.
