Managed to get openOMSI running with DLSS 5 (and working ReShade). Here's a quick preview!
Before the purists come at me with pitchforks for slapping DLSS onto OMSI: hear me out, this was mostly a "can it actually be done?" weekend experiment.
The stock openOMSI build doesn't support DLSS (the PR for it was dropped upstream), and ReShade has a known bug that breaks injection. I ended up putting together a modified fork on the game side that works around the ReShade issue and brings back the DLSS support. After that, I was able to use DLSS5 Swapper to hook it up.
Visually and performance-wise, it actually turned out surprisingly solid on my setup.
Here’s a short clip showing how it runs. If anyone is curious or wants to tinker with it, my build is up on GitHub: https://github.com/Criisko/openOMSI
(Standard disclaimer: it’s an experimental, "works on my machine" kind of workaround, not an official fix, and it doesn't bundle any Nvidia DLLs. Take it as-is!)
