My X/Twitter account was hacked recently and the hacker changed the login details, so I contacted X Support through the hacked/compromised account form.
After waiting for a bit, I finally received a response from X Support asking me to reply with verification details like:
username
associated email addresses
last date I had access
phone number linked to the account
I already sent them everything they asked for from the original email connected to the account, and now I’m stuck waiting again.
I’ve seen mixed experiences online, so I wanted to ask people here who’ve actually recovered hacked accounts:
How long did X Support take to reply after you sent the verification info? Did they actually help you recover the account, or did you keep getting automated replies?
Just trying to know what kind of timeline I should expect at this stage.

My game account got compromised recently and I noticed the hacker is still able to access it through the linked Twitter/X login. I received an in-game login notice showing an unknown device logging in via Twitter on a Vivo iQOO Neo 10R (India).

I contacted X Support about the hacked/compromised account and they finally replied asking for verification details like username, associated emails, last access date, and linked phone number. So at least the recovery process is moving forward now.

I’ve already secured my email and changed passwords, but the attacker still seems to have session access somehow.

Has anyone dealt with something similar involving Twitter/X linked logins? How long did support usually take to fully recover the account?

My X/Twitter account recently got hacked. The attacker changed both the email address and phone number linked to the account, so I completely lost access.

After securing my Gmail and other connected accounts, I contacted X Support and initially only got the automated “we don’t monitor this support inbox” response.

Later, I received another email from X Access Support asking me to provide:
- my username,
- email addresses associated with the account,
- the last date I had access,
- and the phone number linked to the account.

I also have the official X security email confirming that the email address on my account was changed by someone else.

Has anyone here gone through this process before? Did X actually help recover or disable the account after replying with those details?

Trying to figure out whether this means a real support case is finally being reviewed or if it’s still mostly automated.

Can anyone help me recover or delete this permanently?

My BGMI account is linked to an X/Twitter account that recently got hacked. The hacker changed the email and phone number on the X account, and I no longer have access to it.

I still have access to my BGMI account through Game Center, but I noticed someone else logged into the account after the X account got compromised.

I tried unlinking the hacked X account from BGMI, but the game says I haven’t logged in long enough to unlink it.

I already contacted KRAFTON support and sent proof that the X account email was changed by someone else.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation before?

Any advice would really help.
