My friend told me about ff14 and told me all about the free trial and upsold me on starting it, said in the free trial if i didnt like shadowbringers that the game isnt for me. I also heard here and there that starting the game is pretty slow so i was reluctant with that especially given im not a mmo person. And i made a bet with him, i told him was if i liked it after shadow bringers id get something done but I wouldn't tell him what id just show him when its done (getting the legacy tattoo).

That was a week ago and ive dropped every game i was playing prior

Now i didnt think id like the game this much but i started about a week ago and im Iready in heavensward, loving the game. I actually liked realm reborn alot more than thought, especially the ending, and i wasnt expecting to like the game as much as i do now let alone way before shadow bringers like my friend said and i skipped the free trial and bought the subscription and bought base and will be playing actively for sure hopefully before evercold drops i can catch up.

Now with the legacy tattoo i mentioned and the entire point of this, i want to get it it on myself then surprise my friend. but i know its only for people who had a character from 1.x onward. i know it isnt that deep but i have stupid personal superstition of not wanting to do things if i didnt i didnt get it the real way or in a way earn it. So i wanted to ask any 1.x players if they wanted to maybe give me a personal quest that once done they'd deem "worthy" of getting the legacy tattoo so i can feel better about getting it.

Sorry if this was a long ramble post but i am really loving the game so much i already want to get something done for it tattoo wise and the legacy seems perfect to show my already growing love for the game. Hopefully this wasnt annoying and some may entertain my side quest idea. (Hopefully nothing two hard)

Im catching up on ZZZ after taking a break for a while and just finished the quest involving isolde, and oml i wish she was a character her voice acting alone is what held my attention through entire quest (and thats with me not liking some of the dialogs in zzz some of it kinda drags) definitely one of my favorite characters of the game so far that really fit her roll, where some characters to me feel little out of no where or have no relevance

But with catching up im definitely excited but also expecting some filler and slow parts, and Ive already seen glimpses of current patch stuff i just dont know how it happens. but can anyone thats caught up tell me how the quests get from here? am i in for a good catch up binge?
