I'm in no way promoting or supporting this site, but advising fans that Coolbet has expanded their Usports football offerings this year. They currently have 11 of this weekend's 13 games listed. They're missing Sunday's Waterloo at Carleton and York at Western games, but maybe they get added closer to game time.
They also offer futures betting, where you can pick the winner of each conference, along with the Vanier Cup.
This is the news we'd been hoping for ever since hearing in the spring that his cancer was in remission. Looking forward to seeing him leading the Huskies on the field Thursday evening, as the host the U of A Bears in an exhibition game in Saskatoon.
For those not familiar with his story, here are a couple excerpts from the latest update:
Last fall, Amundrud established himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the country as part of a 4-1 start to the season with 1,604 yards passing, 14 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
But in October, Amundrud stepped away from the team to deal with a series of medical issues which were eventually diagnosed as T-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
What followed was months of hospital stays, tests and rounds of aggressive chemotherapy to tackle the disease.
