Advice Requested for Broken Nail/Claw

Update: thanks so much to everyone for the advice! I was worried about my dog walking on it and sleeping with it and potentially making it worse so ended up going to the ER anyway for my own peace of mind. Her nail fell off on the way there and she has a little wound but not actively bleeding. A staff member cleaned the wound and told me to just keep it clean and covered and dry as much as possible for at least a week and lookout for infections. Baby girl and I are back home and she is resting now. Appreciate everyone who shared, upvoted, and commented to help me in making a decision in this situation 💚💚

My vet is closed today so I’m hoping to get some advice before I go down an internet rabbit hole trying to figure out what to do.

My senior border collie wears socks pretty much all the time to help with traction and to prevent scrapes from the way she drags her feet sometimes especially on concrete and rocks/gravel. I put a fresh set of socks on her yesterday late afternoon/early evening and her paws all looked normal. I went to change her socks just now though and was alarmed and concerned to find her furthest left nail on her front left paw is hanging pretty loosely and from very close to the base/pad.

Has anyone had this happen before? What should I do? Does this warrant an ER visit? Or is there something I could/should do at home?
