Has anyone had one of these? Surgeon ordered one due to continued pain and bloating, pressure 6 weeks plus after surgery.
Some things online say it’s a difficult test as the contrast makes you sick? Can anyone speak to their experience? Did results lead to answers? Thanks for any info.
For those of you who have had surgery, did you have more than one appointment with your surgeon after your surgery? I met with my surgeon at about 2 weeks post surgery. I was struggling a little bit which he wasn’t overly concerned with. He then pretty much dismissed me and said if I had problems I could contact my GP. I was just wondering if this was standard procedure? I’m 4 weeks out from surgery and recovery has been slow and difficult. I feel like it is odd that after such major surgery, there is no further follow up. Maybe I’m just being needy, but I feel a little abandoned and as if this isn’t good practice? Would love to hear your experiences……..
Has anyone used IBGard after their surgery to help with bowel function. I read that it may not be considered safe at all stages of recovery?? Just wondering if anyone know or has had experience using it.
