Meet Touche..
New Bird owner
Touche and I have been bonding (if thats what you call it), Touche was purchased from a bird shop.
"Yes this bird was hand reared and hand tame."
Buyer beware .I should've attempted to have Touche step up before I purchased Touche.
As I was looking for a suitable Cage for Touche , the sophisticated owner was clipping its wings.
I said I didn't want Touche 's wings clipped.
The useless shop owner, " Oh sorry, Ill give you the bird 50% cheaper".
I agreed and took Touche home never to return to this shop again. Added a negative review on their website.
It took two days for Touche to settle but eating and drinking ok.
Touche does take treats and will hop onto my arm for its reward.
But fingers and hands are nipped.
I ignore Touche when this happens.
Its going to be a long road which I have time for and I love Touche.
My main concern is when I need to take him to an Avian vet?. How to transfer Touche in to a travel cage or box.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Can you tell me if Touche is Female or Male?
I was told Touche is 4 years old. But I want to take Touche to a vet for affirmation
