Can serpents fang work on abilities on a mage?
So had a very interesting game, was xerath into TF, but enemy team had voli top, rammus jungle, tahm yummi bot and I killed TF twice in the first 3 minutes and he rage quit and I had his tower at 8 minutes, at this point all tank enemy team and I'm a xerath so I went a different item path of Torch>liandrys>Rylais>morello>horizon, game ended before 6th item but I was thinking serpents fang since besides rammus all other champs on their team shield heavily and neither my Yi jungle or jinx bot wanted to grab it cause "bad item", voli was hyper fed from Sion doing Sion things but his split pushing was useful at least, and we had a brand support which kept saying burn build on xerath is bad and I should've gone burst which into their comp I disagree, but yeah we barely won a 4v5 and would going serpents fang been a good call given the circumstances? And should I have itemized differently?
