A few of us (all in our mid-20s) will be in Taormina for two-ish days and would love your best recommendations/must dos to add to our itinerary! We have some plans of doing wineries, possibly beaches, etc - but don’t know where to start! We’re looking for amazing food, beautiful scenery, local culture, and fun experiences. The more authentic, the better :)

What are your absolute must-sees, hidden gems, and favorite local spots? We’d also love to know which tourist traps are worth skipping. We’ll be traveling around Sicily for a while and want to experience this area as authentically as possible. Thanks!

We’ll be staying in Taormina for a few days in mid-August and want to spend a day visiting wineries. We’d love recommendations for your favorite wineries, especially around Mount Etna, but we’re open to anywhere in eastern Sicily if it’s worth the drive.

We’re looking for places with beautiful views, a great atmosphere, excellent wine, and a memorable tasting experience. Bonus points for amazing food or lunch options, and English-speaking tours are a plus (but not required). We’d much rather visit hidden gems and local favorites than tourist traps. Thanks!
