Millennials of Pune: We Might Need a Bigger Table!

Millennials of Pune: We Might Need a Bigger Table!

Apparently, putting a bunch of millennials in their 30s around the same table is all it takes to accidentally organise an unofficial legal symposium. Our collective knowledge of the law expanded considerably, thanks to our new friends. Whether our understanding of it improved at the same rate remains legally disputed.

What made the evening memorable, though, wasn't just what we talked about, but the people we shared those conversations with. Everyone simply showed up as themselves, and somewhere between the conversations and shared laughter, strangers started feeling a little less like strangers. By the end of the evening, the question had quietly changed from whether we'd meet again to when.

A big thank you to everyone who showed up. You brought your time, your stories, and a little bit of yourselves to the table, and left me with more reasons to keep doing this.

I may have missed a couple of messages while coordinating, so if you reached out and didn't hear back from me, apologies. There will be more meetups.

Quick note to our younger friends who keep trying to get in - enjoy your 20s while they last. Being a millennial at heart does not expedite the process.

Until next time.

Millennials of Pune: Let's Meet Again!

Now that the scorching summer has finally made way for the rains, it feels like the perfect time to step out for a hot cup of tea, good conversations, and familiar (or soon-to-be familiar) faces.

Somewhere in our 30s, friendships quietly stop happening by accident. Between careers, families, responsibilities, and life in general, meeting new people often slips to the bottom of the priority list. It takes a little more intent now, a few calendar checks, and someone willing to say, "Let's meet over chai this weekend."

The idea remains the same - meet new people, form genuine connections, and hopefully leave with a few familiar faces you'll want to catch up with again. Every friendship begins with strangers deciding to share a conversation. This meetup is simply an opportunity to make that first conversation happen.

When: Saturday, 4th July

Time: 5:30 pm

Place: TBD [somewhere near Deccan]

Quick Note: Like always, keeping this for those already in their 30s so everyone's roughly in a similar life phase.

A comment or a DM would be appreciated to get a rough headcount.
