Yesterday, I was prescribed dienogest to take for 6 months after my laparoscopy, which I had 9 days ago but tbh I read contraindications and I'm scared to take them because I have anxiety-depression disorder. I already have bad experience with taking fake progesterone hormones - like suicide thoughts, acne, very bad mood etc. I told that to my doctor, but she completely ignored this part and told me that depression isn't often a contraindication. She obviously lied to me. We agreed that I can start and if I feel bad to come to her to change the therapy. I don't know what to do. I really don't want to take something what will ruin my already bad mental health. Does anyone have experience with this? Thank you!
