my property manager let it slip they've been checking my smart lock entry logs and now i feel weird about it (TX)

our building switched to smart locks back in january, they made it seem like it was just a convenience upgrade, keyless entry whatever. i didn't really think much of it

but two weeks ago my property manager sent me an email saying she wanted to "check in" because she noticed i hadn't been around much and wanted to make sure everything was okay with the unit. i never told anyone i was gonna be gone, i was just staying at my girlfriends place across town for a few weeks

looked it up after and apparently through the landlord portal they can see a full log of every entry and exit. exact timestamps. which means they know when i leave for work, when i come back, if i have people over, how long they stay

the email was friendly and whatever but it seriously creeped me out. like i get that its technically their building but i didn't consent to being monitored like that. i have some savings set aside so picking up and leaving isnt the worst option but i really like this apartment and 3 years of being a good tenant shouldnt have to mean starting over somewhere

has anyone else dealt with this or pushed back on it in any way. feels like a line got crossed even if they wont see it that way
