I am seeking the title and series of a book I would have read in the early 90's. It is a Murder Mystery set in small town Canada (Maybe Alaska) He is trying to find the murderer of a hunter, whom had killed a bear with a crossbow. The scenes I remember are he interviews a man in a small cabin, there is a tin plate full of cigarette butts on the table. Someone shoots his car and he has to put it in the panel beater and borrow a loan car. He has to be careful of fighting a man from french Canada as they fight with their feet. I am fairly sure it is not a Nathan Active or Alex Jensen novel (Though I am going to be checking this one out) Thank you

Looking for some advice. A friend of mine was looking at my nooks today and wants to do one with a fairy or fairy tale theme. Ifeel she would need a beginner level kit. Has anyone got a suggestion?

So the kit had a whole 89 pieces and took me about 4 hours, a little longer than I expected. Came up looking pretty good. I will admit it is not my favourite kit, but it did fit in with my other Sun WuKong adjacent media. Next on the agenda will be (Fifijoy Sewing room. )
