I never understood the “Vampire are immune to Cross because they don’t know Jesus” trope. It should still work on them regardless.
There a clip from Castlevania that always never made sense to me. It the one where Trevor was explaining to Spyha about a weapon that look like a Cross, “Cross Haladie.”
Spyha Ask why vampire from different regions would be afraid of a Crucifix if they don’t know what a Crucifix is in the first place. I thought the obvious answer was the cross would still affect vampires since God does exist and does have power. But no it because Cross confuses vampire eye.
I never understood why Spyha though a cross wouldn’t hurt vampire regardless if they know god or not. God is a real tangible force.
By that logic if an assassin point a gun an individual who doesn’t know what a gun is or doesn’t believe a gun exist they are immune to bullets.
