Slowly but surely

I’ve been building a 66 coupe for my daughter for what seems like forever. It’s slow going and earlier this year I gave up and snagged a 65, running and driving that’s far from perfect, but good enough for her to accumulate some miles. She’s been doing just that, which is delightful.

The trans for her 66 (T5 from a fox body) is finally about ready to mount, then I can stab this driveline and be all set for new wiring harness. Good times.

How do I use these track pieces?

Howdy everybody. I’m new to the hobby, and just bought a starter Carrera Go track to get my feet wet. I also got this “Action Pack” that came with these pieces that are curved in the Z axis, and I have no idea how I might incorporate them.

I tried researching myself, but haven’t been able to find images or video of these pieces in use.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Help with factory AC bracket

I’m assembling this 66 Mustang that I bought in pieces. This isn’t my first build, but this is the first one that had factory AC and I’m failing over here, haha.

Try as I might, I haven’t been able to find good reference for how this goes together. Also, am I missing one of the brackets for this?

Thanks in advance for any wisdom y’all can share.

Anti-bot picture post.

I love the idea of drowning out the bot posts with our own stuff, so here’s some shots of my fleet. I sold the Springtime Yellow car, but I did recently add the hot rodded sixxer in Dynasty Green. Behind the fastback in the first pic is my 64.5 coupe that I’m turning into a race car (eventually). Got to finish my daughter’s 66 coupe that’s under construction first.

I present to you: “The Altar”

When I remodeled this 30x30ft, 1966 shop building, I jokingly named “The Temple of Automotive Enlightenment”.

The first thing I built for it was this workbench, “The Altar”. I got an old 10ft stainless steel restaurant prep table at an auction, ditched everything but the top and built this behemoth at exactly the right height for me. I also added this vise mount to the side. The stainless top is absolutely indestructible, and I can toss a transmission on top of it and don’t have to worry about fluid smoking in or big heavy metal parts digging divots into a wood top.
