I mainly target the French audience on TikTok, and this is the first video I posted after joining the Creator Rewards Program.

Honestly, the results feel pretty disappointing in terms of RPM/earnings even though the video got decent views. All the analytics are shown in the screenshots.

I’m kinda confused because I can get good view numbers, but I still don’t understand why the revenue is so low.

Has anyone experienced this when starting in the program?

If you have experience with TikTok Creator Rewards, especially with French or European audiences, I’d really appreciate any advice on how to improve my stats (RPM, retention, watch time, audience quality, etc.).

I’m also thinking about switching completely to the US audience and maybe changing my niche entirely.

But I keep hearing that changing niche can kill a TikTok account.

What do you guys think? Any advice would help a lot 🙏

I’m a content creator and I recently met the requirements to start monetizing. I just posted my first monetized video, but honestly I’m feeling a bit disappointed.

My RPM is extremely low (around $0.11), especially compared to the number of views I got. The video targeted a French audience, and I expected a bit better performance.

Because of that, I’m now thinking about completely changing my content strategy and focusing on an American audience instead.

Has anyone here gone through something similar or has advice on how to improve RPM and choose the right niche/target audience? Any ideas for content that works better for the US market would be really appreciated.
