Hi all,

I just got a great deal of stuff from FB marketplace and am having trouble rigging the sails I got. The mast tube is just just just barely too big to fit into the bottom of the mast. I can definitely sand down the difference, but I am confused because the guy I got all this from has been windsurfing for like 15 years and this has been his rig for the past 10. So it should all fit together. Is this just supposed to be insanely tight? I don't want to sand it if that will mess everything up.

I've windsurfed with rentals down at the cape before but have never had the opportunity to have my own gear, so I'm not super accustomed to setting up sails. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi all! I've wanted a sunfish since midway through college and never had the space, ability to transport, or cash for one. I was lucky to find the perfect FB marketplace listing earlier this year and got some old hulls that I repaired over the summer.
