Advice for transitioning from radio?

Hi all! Like the title says I’m looking into voice acting after around five years of working with radio stations. looking for a thing a little more creative and have always wanted to do it.

Interviews, news, ads, music shows you name it. Been feeling a little boxed in by my current gig and thinking about using any time I got to experiment in VO.

Only hiccup is I am super unfamiliar with the professional VO world (though the pinned websites have been extremely helpful so far) and how it’s different from someone like me talking on a single station or network.

Anybody that’s done a similar move? Any tips/things to look out for would be a huge help!
