Lightbulb fell right where I was standing 10 seconds before at Pennhurst

Y’all might be tired of hearing about Pennhurst, but I wanted to share an experience I had that I can’t really explain from today at Paracon. I consider myself a skeptic, but like Mulder, I want to believe.

My friend and I were in Tinicum building and as we were walking through, I was talking about how I really need some hard evidence in order to believe. As we were walking out, I stopped at a table by the entrance to drink some water and be out of the way. We headed toward the door and right where I had been standing not 10 seconds prior, a lightbulb fell and smashed into the table. We looked up right away and the whole electrical conduit the bulb was attached to was wobbling. A number of other people saw it and one of the staff heard the crash. You can see the fixture it fell from at the top of the picture, the glass on the table, and on the floor.

We asked staff and they said the upper floor was completely closed off, nobody had been up there for weeks. I’m very aware the building is falling apart and it could have just been the ravages of time that caused the bulb to fall, but the timing was pretty wild. I went back later in the day and as I walked past a group of folks using some sort of word bank, their device said “black.” I was wearing all black, but so were a lot of people. Still kinda strange.

Has anyone else had an experience like that there? What do you think it was?
