I built a tvOS-style home screen and an art-mode screensaver for rooted LG webOS TVs (Lumen + Lumen Gallery)
Two open-source projects for rooted LG TVs (needs the Homebrew Channel). Tested on an LG 65UQ8040PSB, webOS 22.
Lumen is a tvOS-style home screen, built as patches on top of partridgeworks/webos-launcher. It has a glass dock, a Recent row, folders, hold-OK to move or remove apps, a wallpaper library, and a Control Center (sound, picture mode, sleep timer, screensaver time, volume, screen off, restart). It's built for a weak TV chip: no live blur, and only transform and opacity animate. It can also take over the remote's Home button.

Lumen Gallery is an art-mode screensaver in the style of Samsung's The Frame. It shows public-domain paintings (Cleveland Museum of Art) and Islamic art (Wikimedia Commons, Cleveland) full screen in a real-wood frame, with mattes, a slideshow and favourites. People in art can be hidden. It can take over when the TV's screensaver starts.
