Hello :) I moved to the Lower East Side about a year ago and I feel like I still haven’t taken full advantage of the neighborhood. I don’t plan to live in this neighborhood forever and I don’t want to move out in a few years feeling like I didn’t even experience where I lived. I’m looking for recommendations on “institutions” which can include more touristy spots, plus “hole-in-the-wall” places. I want to get the full experience while I’m here, however long that may be.

Looking for restaurants, bars, shops, museums, monuments, bakeries, parks, art, places I should be a regular at?? Anything you can think of old or new that someone living here should experience at least once.
