Books/resources for lapsed horn players?

I have an elderly friend who played horn for many decades but has not played much in the past few years. He would like to get his chops back in shape and play on a daily basis. Do you have any recommended books or resources? Are there some good progressive etude books? Horn isn't my instrument, so I'm totally lost, but I'd like to help him out. He played with a community orchestra for many years--I'd guess his level was low advanced? (He knows it will take him a while to get back into shape and that he'll never get back in the shape he was in when he was younger, as he's in his 80s now.)

Thanks in advance.

Work, light gaming, and photo editing under USD 1200

* **Country**

US

* **Budget**

USD 1200 -- hopefully this week's sales will help me snag something that normally exceeds that

* **Are you open to refurbs/used options? **

No

* **Screen size**

14" or larger

* **Weight limit**

No strong feelings

* **Purpose**

General purpose, work, light gaming, photo editing

* **Form factor**

Standard or 2-in-1

* **Intended usage**

General use, photo editing, and light gaming on older games. (Settings don't need to be crazy, but an example of a game that my older laptop struggled with is The Sims 3, and I would like to play it again.)

* **Desired battery life**

Preferably all day during light use such as web browsing

* **Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life**

Performance, battery life, weight, size

* **Info/Requirements**

Would like a decent display with faithful color representation (for a digital display) since I do a lot of photography and photo editing and printing.

My husband will also be using this laptop, and he's currently lobbying for this Dell 16 Plus.

I'm also a big fan of Lenovo just because we're only having to replace our old one after 9 years of heavy use.
