The Lack of Jhin, Guidance for the Lost (It's me, I'm the lost)

The Lack of Jhin, Guidance for the Lost (It's me, I'm the lost)

I have gotten VERY interested in Jhin as a deck and so I went to go digging to see what people were doing with him and quickly found that they are doing...nothing? A site like riftboundgg who has a ton of articles for every legend casually doesn't have one for Jhin. I can't find him anywhere in tournaments or anything and we live in a world where Teemo is getting Top 8 in Regional Qualifiers and so this post is less about the lack of his appearance in tournament and moreso on the lack of information on how he's built, how he plays the game. Strategy, card choice, meta calls, sideboarding, I feel like this info exists for everyone EXCEPT for Jhin.

So let's take this moment to discuss him. Do you play him? Maybe you're like me and you're interested in trying him but are having quite a hard time finding a solid base to build on. To further assist in this discussion, this is the highest placing list that went to Sydney (Placing 220th)

TLDR; I cannot for the life of me find anything on this guy. Is it because he's bad? Hard? Outclassed by Kai'sa? Perhaps his builds will be very nitty gritty min-max stuff that takes awhile to work out. Maybe, again, he just sucks. I'm not sure but he fascinates me.

Azir lists removing Sand Soldier spells?

I've been doing a ton of studying on what versions of Azir have been placing well in high level tournaments and consistently, from lists that win to ones that get Top 8, a lot of them (especially in the Chinese meta) are taking out most if not all the Sand Soldier generation that isn't Arise! (Guards! and Desert's Call) in favor of card draw, combat tricks or high impact Units such as Yellow Vi or Ashe/Galio. How do my other bird lovers feel on this? I think it makes sense given the increase in gear options AND yellow having so many more efficient card draw options it feels like the plan has shifted to a much less conquering focused design and more of a hybrid between conquering and holding until you draw to your Arise! or just outlast with efficient combat tricks and a wide board from all the VERY cheap Equipment you can run. I'm curious what everyone else thinks, maybe my analysis is wrong but it feels like a solid direction for Azir to go towards. My Sand Soldier summoning spells have felt lower impact in a lot of spots too lately.

Galio and Azir, Best Friends?

A card i dismissed a ton going into Unleashed was Galio. He protects Sand Soldiers, is the dream death grip target and can even make stuff like sacrifice work. How do we feel about this large winged man? Love him? Hate him? Let me hear it, I think he has a ton of potential to make certain situations where you aim for early holds to be super good in addition to having big card synergy with stuff we already run/would like to think about running.
