Landlord refusing to acknowledge communication about pre-existing refuse
Brief background: We started our tenancy on the 28th of February, but we couldn't move in until the 21st of march, on the 20th I visited the property to drop off some items and discovered that the garden shed is full of rubbish left by the contractors that carried out the redecorating on our property before we moved in, this refused includes; paint, broken blinds, delivery boxes, flooring, and god knows what else without digging into it, but easily enough to fill a transit van
I immediately informed the landlord of this (and several other issues such as a rotting windowsill and wobbly toilets) and they said they would send someone to look at it
We have neither seen nor heard any response since, despite sending two further emails about the situation and I'm wondering what my options are or who to contact
The tenancy is managed by the landlord not a lettings agent
I would simply empty the shed myself, but not only do I feel it's not my responsibility, it would take probably 3 journeys and because it's obviously trade waste I would be charged a premium
