My Kindle doesn't appear on the Calibre menu
I'ts my first time using calibre, i usually buy physical books but i wanted to read this one and It is too expensive on paper, so my dad recommended calibre to me.
The problem i have is that my Kindle does not appear in the menu to put It in, It is in the right format and everything, but i think my laptop does not recognize my kindle. The cable i use works for charging the device, so i don't know what to do. My Kindle is also really old, but i don't think thats a problem.
I'm not really sure but i think it's a problem with the cable.
Does anyone have any solutions for this problem?? I'm not really familiar with this program so i have no idea how to fix this.
And if the problem is with the cable, could you recommend one to buy that might work?
