Hi there's something in my mind recently and i needed some external opinion. In portal 2 we can see a promotional video where Cave Johnson introduces the turret. But, in Aperture Desk Job, we play as the person who invents the turret, long after Cave died/got put in the giant robot head. Is this an inconsistency in the lore or is one of them not canon ?
