This feels like a deeply stupid question, since I drive past acres upon acres of hazelnut fields every time I leave the house. But I haven't figured out who actually sells to randos like me on the cheap, but there has to be someone, or many someones.
We finally identified the source of the scrabbling in our walls is actually chipmunks. Found the hole they were using too.
I'd love to simply plug the hole, but don't want to trap them in there. Went from "aww, so cute!" to "aw, goddamnit!" when we saw it a mamma chipmunk with an enormous baby, who proceeded to carry said baby straight up the side of our house and shove it into a tiny hole under our eves. On top of just not wanting to kill the adorable chipmunks, we REALLY don't want to deal with dead chipmunk smell, since that wall is right against the head of our bed.
Is there some advice on a DIY like one way exclusion type thing we can set up for a bit? At least the babies look old enough I don't think they'll be helpless if mom gets excluded without them?
