Bug or just a new unwanted change?
Every time i launch the game even though i have the mode i want to play set from last time, it always shows the discover section so i have to press up to show my skin/mode.

this sub banned the word "Le,ak" so i couldn't post with that word in the title and had to multipost to check the damn thing.
Anyway...
Its much less severe than before and takes longer before it happens. before i would say it was 90% bad and now its like 20-30% bad. it still should not exist
I really hope they fix this. You cant turn fenders around to connect to themselves since the collision box is wrong. Snap points that used to exist are just gone and I cant place thrusters on some normal flat, not angled, surfaces anymore.
They really need to fix these problems as its insanely limiting our ability to build things.
I find the lack of Icons for map markers to be frustrating as you cant accurately depict what you need to.
I suggest we have more Icons along with the ability to use our banner Icons, of which are rarely used anywhere else in the game except for STW, to be used for map markers.
Additionally i think we should have more Flag models now that we have flying ships. Bonus if they show the banner icon on the flag.

Village Hubs ( Camp and Outpost should be named something else other than "Squares" Given the smaller Sizes.)
The area inside a Hub is a safe zone. players who join the world cannot build, access chests, or damage anything within the boundaries of the Hub. They are allowed to use Furniture. The Hub owner must give the other player permission in order to Build, Access chests, damage anything. Each option is a setting you can apply individually or a quick setting to apply all but chest access/destruction.
Upgrading
Each Hub can be upgraded to the next Hub tier or you can immediately build a bigger Hub. The Camp Hub will give the player the shack recipes. Outpost Hub will Start all the other recipes. Town Hub can only be acquired through upgrading a Village Hub. Each Hub will have Varying levels. NPC job types are now based on Hub Level. To upgrade a Hub It needs to be at Max level. Upon upgrading, the new Hub level starts at 1.
Camp Hub (small) > No automation. 1 NPC and 1 animal max. Job type = Minor exploration/Minor Gathering
Outpost Hub (medium) > Minimum automation. 5 NPC/2 Animals or a combination of thereof [Min 1 NPC]. (example) 2 NPC/5 Animals. Medium Exploration/Gathering/Smelting/Cooking. Unlocks Gem gathering/Metal ore Gathering.
Village Hub (large) > 7 NPC and 3 animals, More specific job types, unlocks Gem Refining/Ingot Smelting. Faster Crafting times
*Town Hub * (Very large) > 10 NPC and 4 Animals. Double Yield from all jobs(max level). Can occasionally come back with an Epic tool/Weapon. Includes stuff from lower tier Hub .
New Hubs include New Campfires!
Villager Customization!!
>Starting at Hub Level:
> - Level 1 - Weapon/Offhand [Common/uncommon] > - Level 2 - + potion slot [Common/uncommon] > - Level 3 - + Charm slot [Common/Uncommon] > - Level 5 - + 2 charm slot > - Level 6 - Rare items > - Level 8 - + 3 Charm slots (total 3) > - Level 10 - Elite Items > - Level 15 - Legendary Charms > - Level 20 - Legendary Weapons
!Existing Worlds!
All existing worlds will keep their current Villagers and Hub level and start at the Village Hub size. They will need to level up the Hub and gear the villagers up and apply any campfire buff in the menu.
Village Hub Boundary Upgrade
You can now create an item that will increase the range of your Hub boundary by [10x10] meters per rarity. You only get 1 slot for this item in the Hub menu. There is a cooldown of 10 minutes after equipping your Hub with the item before you can change it again.
Equip rarity limits (rarity and lower):
With upgrading your Boundary comes new rules regarding Hub placement. If you try to equip your hub with the range extender item and there is a Town/Village/Outpost/Camp within the buffer zone, you will be warned and unable to equip the range extender until you fix it. You cannot overlap Hub boundaries. Camp Hubs can now be placed much closer to Town/Village/Outpost Hubs. (so you can have an outpost with a few camps around but if you want to expand you need to absorb those camps)
To start this pass is insanely fun to play with. However I have noticed some major problems the Greatly limits Builds, Well Standard builds as I have seen some amazing ones this past week.
Missing Pieces:
DragonCraft Crew controls - We are currently missing the Thruster? For the smaller Dragon Craft ship variant. The first variant is the large ship with the Large nacelles and uses the Main large thruster.
Dreadnought Dirigible - This may go unnoticed by some but its actually insanely important for 2 reasons. So First just ignore the parts that are shown as they are not the issue but rather pay attention to the Blue Build itself. We notice that the steering wheel is on a rounded platform and the angled steps.
Unfortunately the stairs that we were given with the Prefab are 2 studs Wider(5 studs at top) than what is shown in this image(3 studs at top). This makes this exact build shown to be impossible to create. And the thing is that these parts have to exist for them to show off the preview in the first place. Now this is where we move onto the next point. Example Build
The Dreadnought itself is long and skinny. The Prefab, unlike the Dragoncraft Cruiser, does not use the center Bow Pieces. The Dragoncraft cruiser has a dragon head part to fill in the 8 block gap between the left/right Front pieces. The Dreadnought on the other hand only has the shark head which only fits the skinny version of the ship. Wider ship version
But this is not all. The Stairs in the first example also do not work for a wider variant of the ship because we are missing 2 studs on each side. To visualize this, for a Wide variant of the dreadnought you would place the curved block in the center, then on each side the 4 stud steps in the prefab, then finally the missing angled steps for a total size of 7 studs at the top step on each side of the rounded block. Shown here
The entire thing is Frustrating because because each ship build has the exact same Hull Parts for the wider variants but the shark head/jaw and steps have missing/no parts to fill in that gap. And the Dreadnought Has the Cabin part to fill in the gap.
So We unfortunately Cannot make a skeleton ship of Terry the Fat shark.
