hey friends, I’m a single 30f moving from Palm beach to the bay area to take a job in Palo Alto. Pay starts at 90k. It seems like San Jose has more affordable (I use that term loosely) options for rentals over Palo Alto or Cupertino.
What’s life like living in San Jose? Is there nightlife, community other young single people in their early 30s? I was raised in San Diego and have lived in miami the past 5 years. I really want this job, and I’m hoping San Jose can provide a lifestyle and vibe similar to the season of life I’m in (unmarried with no kids.) thank you!!

Im considering taking it. Thoughts on the demographics of living in that area? I’m looking to plant myself in a place where there’s other single successful people in my age range so I can date and make friends.
