2025 taxes with student grants
I recently started looking into grants and their tax’s. I have a question about my current situation. I have already filed my 2025 taxes. Made about 20k from w-2 wages(≈8k being overtime), 10k from 1099-nec with ≈2.5k in deductions. I also had ≈2500 in capital losses across multiple brokerages. I started at a community college in the fall and got about 2000 in surplus aid each quarter that I did not account for in my 2025 filings. How do I go about accounting for the aid? I don’t want to receive a letter 12 months from now saying that I owe back taxes.Also I didn’t receive a 1089-t
