Help me find my boyfriend’s childhood pillowcase 🥹
My boyfriend is turning 28, and I’m trying to surprise him by recreating his childhood baby pillowcase that was really special to him.
Unfortunately, he no longer has the original pillowcase, but I was able to find these photos of both sides of it. One side has a pastel abstract/geometric print and the reverse has a repeating vertical stripe pattern.
My first choice would be to somehow find the exact vintage pillowcase or fabric. But if that’s impossible, I’d love to find someone who can recreate these two patterns from the photos and have them printed onto soft fabric.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be a pillowcase — I actually think turning the recreated fabric into a small, super-soft double-sided blanket/throw could be an even better birthday gift.
I’m in NYC and would love recommendations for textile designers, fabric printers, seamstresses, or anyone who does this kind of sentimental recreation. ❤️
