Hi!
Would anyone be interested in starting (or signing) a petition to either lower the cost of the first generation graduation stole (which is currently $40, $10 more than the generic western appreciation one) or to abolish the cost completely? I feel it’s unfair to charge so much for a stole celebrating first generation student success, especially when first generation students disproportionately come from low-income families. This “little” cost is just another financial hurdle for students to break systemic barriers. If anyone’s interested lmk!
