Is Counterintelligence Supply Chain Risk Management A Good Career Field?
Hello everyone, I am a recent graduate from an intelligence studies program who has been given a job offer from a three letter to work as a Counterintelligence Supply Chain Risk Management Analyst. I can either take the offer or decline and continue to wait in the hiring pool. I don't have any background in this field, and due to the nature of the job offer have to make a decision quickly without really being able to learn much about what I will be doing or how the career progression might look like.
For those of you in this field or similar fields, are you happy with what you do? If you had to go back to the beginning of your career, would you choose it again? Are there opportunities in the private sector for similar jobs that could utilize the experience from this role, if I want to transition out of the agency eventually? Do you have any tips for a new person entering the industry?
