My dog hasn’t been very energetic these days and just lies around most of the time. Could this be because of the hot weather? Should I take him to see a vet?

Since my dog kept whining in the middle of the night a while back, I’ve been taking it outdoors a lot more lately, hoping to burn off some of its energy. I’ve noticed it’s shedding way more. Could this be because of the weather? Do your dogs shed heavily too?

Quick weird dog‑related question. My dog has started whimpering quietly every night between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. for the past few days. It never did this before. I thought it might be stomach issues from its dog food, so I switched to a different brand, but nothing changed. It acts completely normal during the day. Has anyone else experienced this? What could be causing this?
