So I haven't replayed the game in forever but I'm currently watching someone doing their first playthrough.

I or the one I'm watching might've missed it but is it ever explained/stated that you can charge attack behind enemies to trigger a visceral?

Having a few hundred hours in the game it has just been ingrained in me that you can do that and I sort of autopilot, but I actually can't remember how I learned that it was a thing.
