*Ive noticed that the question mark region should be highlighted as part of the front hair (pink), ignore that.*

I’ve been watching a lot of hair tutorials, and most of them state that first and foremost I need to simplify hair and focus on the volume. I’m having difficulty doing that - especially concerning side profiles. Does anyone have any advice for simplifying hair? I’ve been trying to simplify irl references’ hair by drawing out the sections, but it still feels wrong. I feel as though I can’t identity the exact points in which the hair begins to change from section to section.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
