Does anyone here work/worship the Mexica teteo, more specifically, Tlaloc? I'm mexican born and raised but I'm still pretty lost after trying to see how to worship and put up an altar for Tlaloc since he appeared as my patron god according to my Tonalli (it's like a horoscope but at the same time it isn't).

I wanted to approach him since it's part of my heritage, but then I saw people being like "ohhh but you need an elder to start you up," while there's another bunch of people saying something completely different. It doesn't help that internet info on modern day worship for the Teteo is vague.

Also, I've been worshipping Selene for almost a month, and She's such a nice presence! But I don't know what it is that makes me feel like I'm betraying some part of myself for not paying attention to the deities where I'm from. How can I sort that out?

Hi! I apologize in advance for this, because i might have an idea of what to say, but also really need some input.

Cw controlling moms (question at the end of the post)

For context, my dad bought me the Ethereal Visions Tarot Deck along with an Alien Oracle one. I loved those decks-- until my christian mom technically took them away without me knowing (I kept them very hidden and only took the opportunity when I was out on vacation with my dad, mind you).

Two years later, after extensive room cleaning to search for them and thinking I must've left them at school or something like that, she revealed that she had them but would only give them back if I repented and burn them, but I'd have to do the burning. Right now, I could use a reading for something I'm sure the decks would've help me get some more clarity on, and it's driving me nuts.

I'm honestly giving up on trying to get them back, but here lies my question: is there a way I could get those back or maybe plead the universe for a sign to get them back? Or should I just give up and buy a new one?
