Is psytrance culture welcoming to “normies”?

I’m 34M and attending my first psytrance festival in Europe this summer. I’ve been listening to this genre for 2–3 years and absolutely love it. I’m also really into the vibe of these festivals from what I’ve seen in videos or read on Reddit.
However, I’ve never been involved in psytrance culture, nor I have any friends who are interested in it. There are also some things associated with these festivals, like astrology and religion/spirituality, that I’m not interested in at all (but respect them), and others like alternative medicine that I’m actually quite skeptical of, as someone with a scientific background.
Since I think these festivals are not just about the music and partying, but also about experiencing the social side of it, I’m still a bit concerned about not fitting in, even if I’ll go with a very open mind. Too hippie for the real world, too normie for a psytrance festival?
Has anyone else ever had these thoughts, or can anyone share their opinion?
Thanks! :)
