Hello I have tinnitus in my right ear, and high frequencies tend to set it off. All roads seem to point at the Wharfedale Denton 80th anniversary as a warm speaker with rolled off highs. I just cant find a deal on a pair below the list of $599.

Yes, I have an EQ but it just won't seem to quell a hot tweeter. My receiver is a Nakamichi TA-2A, which is warm by nature.

Any other suggestions for budget bookshelf speakers for stereo?

I'm in the US.
