Renovating the kitchen, hubby and I can't agree on a key aspect. Pic is our current situation, gonna be a full ripout and refit.

In my poorly-drawn red area, we are going to have a tall cabinet more or less sat atop the bench (the whole kitchen layout is now changing, tricky to explain how, but just go with me on this one).

With regards to its height and top edge, would you A) keep it the same height as the back row of cabinets which are under a non-removable bulkhead B) Line it up with the top of the window frame C) Go all the way to the ceiling.

And if you choose C...what do I do with the ceiling moulding/cornices? Ignore it in that area or re-route it around the top of the cabinet?
