Message from HOD before Pec Cleared

Hi all,
I’m currently at the PEC stage for a role.
The Head of department** ** emailed me directly to schedule a brief call to "discuss some queries he has," referring to the role as a "potential opportunity."
I’m feeling anxious because:
The portal hasn't updated to completed or passed PEC
He used terms like "queries" and "potential opportunity" rather than the role, Congratulations or welcome .

Has anyone had a senior lead reach out before the portal updated? Is this usually just an informal alignment call or something more formal that could affect my offer
Thanks

Will my visa expiry date be a problem

Hi. I have just gotten a job offer for an SEO role in DWP. I am on a graduate visa, with 4 months left. I was wondering if my close visa expiry date would negatively affect or influence sponsorship decision and passing pre employment check

Destructive dog

Hey everyone, I’m currently on a Rover booking and losing my mind a little bit.
The first night, the dog chewed up a pair of my shoes. I understood because he seemed anxious, so I told the owner don't worry about it.Since then, his destructive behavior has completely escalated.
Last night, I shut him safely in the kitchen. Somehow, when I woke up he had escaped , got into my closet door, ripped open a packed bag, and destroyed a third pair of my shoes (heels, chewed down to the inner structure), a rope DnD sign, and my broom. During the meet and greet and drop off the owners didn’t mention this, but I saw chewy toys in his bag so this is clearly a habit. When I messaged the owner, they mentioned he usually goes through one chewy ring a day and that I should give him one at night. He has gone gone through one ring in 4 days. I practically put it in his mouth and he doesn’t chew it. He prefers my stuff.

For context on his energy levels, here is the daily walking schedule I've been giving him:
Morning: 15-minute run

4:00 PM: 30 minutes running around freely off-lead in the garden outside the apartment

11:00 PM: Late night walk around the apartment complex

I messaged the owner this morning to let her know the situation changed, the damage is adding up, and that we'll need to discuss reimbursement for the shoes when they return. She was nice about it and said they will "look into this when we get back definitely."

Am I wrong for bringing up compensation? During the meet-and greet, I explicitly asked them if there was anything I should know, and they didn’t mention any destructive behavior. But clearly, packing specific chew rings to "calm him down" means they know he does this. Since I initially told her don't worry about it for pair #1, is it fair for me to ask for replacement costs for the shoes, or is this just a loss I have to take as a sitter?

Containment: The dog can bypass regular closed doors. I can't keep literally everything out of reach and I don’t have enough high surfaces - he’s a big dog

Rover Support: Does Rover help with this at all, or is it strictly between me and the owner?

Any advice on surviving the rest of this booking? I have boarded over 10 dogs, have a 5 star review and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I'm exhausted!.

Hi all, need your opinion. I received a ticket for parking on a single yellow line on Sunday. The sign shows restriction Monday to Saturday 8:30 am to 6pm so I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing
